Vom Torfhaus über den Goetheweg, vorbei am Großen Torfmoor zur Brockenstraße. Dieser folgend auf den Gipfel des Brocken. Nördlich über den Hirtenstieg hinab bis zum Eckerstausee, bis zur Staumauer und über diese hinweg. Weiter absteigen durch das Eckertal und hinüber zum Molkenhaus. Über Fahrwege zum Burgberg und nach Bad Harzburg hinab.

Der Startpunkt am Torfhaus liegt direkt an der Bundesstraße 4 zwischen Bad Harzburg und Braunlage. Da Start- und Endpunkt nicht identisch sind, wird entweder der Bus genutzt oder ein zweiter PKW benötigt.
