Dies ist keine Mountainbiketour im eigentlichen Sinne, abgesehen von kurzen Trails wird hier auf Wald- Forstwegen und kleinen Straßen gefahren, so lässt sich diese Runde locker und ohne große Mühen abradeln. Die 6Seen-Platte ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel, jetzt im Herbst ist dort nicht viel los und man kann die Natur genießen - im Hochsommer bei schönem Wetter sieht das, insbesondere an Sonn- und Feiertagen, bestimmt anders aus.

Gestartet wird am Promenadenweg / Bachstraße in Essen-Kettwig, hier gibt es einige Parkplätze die jedoch besonders an sonnigen Sonn- und Feiertagen schnell besetzt sind.
