Startpunkt der Tour ist ein Wanderparkplatz bei der Waldschenke. Die Strecke verläuft überwiegend auf schönen Pfade innerhalb des Waldes – weshalb sich diese auch gut an warmen Tagen eignet. Am höchsten Punkt, dem Stabenberg, befindet sich eine kleine Aussichtsplattform von der ein wunderschöner Blick in die Rheineben und Pfälzerwald gegeben ist.
