Vom S-Bahnhof Blankenberg/Sieg geht es hinauf zur Burg Blankenberg und danach durch das malerische Städtchen (circa 700 Einwohner) mit den vielen Fachwerkhäusern, durch das Katharinentor hinaus und dann weiter oberhalb des Ahrenbachs nach Süchterscheid und oberhalb des Ravenstein-Bachs und Krabachs nach Merten an der Sieg zum dortigen S-Bahnhof
