Im Örtchen Grasmere besuchen wir den Friedhof mit dem Grab des Dichters William Wordsworth gehen weiter zum Dove Cottage, seinem ersten Wohnsitz, und dann oberhalb des Grasmere Sees nach Rydal Hall mit seinem schönen Gartern mit sehr altem Baumbestand.. Oberhalb des Rydal See geht es dann vorbei an einer Höhle, die durch Schieferabbau entstanden ist ,zurück nach Grasmere
