Bergwanderung vom Wanderparkplatz Schuttannen auf den Boxberg
Der Aufstieg geht über die Boxbergalpe, er ist rot weiß rot markiert. Technisch sind nur die letzten 20hm zum Gipfel etwas anspruchsvoller (steiler Gipfelhang mit Felsen).
Der Abstieg ist blau weiß blau "=alpin" markiert und geht über 2 seilgesicherte Leiterpassagen mit ca. gesamt 30hm. Hier ist Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit unbedingt erforderlich!
Einkehr in Schutannen am Skilift.
Der Parkplatz ist mit dem Bus erreichbar, er fährt stündlich von Hohenems aus. Die Strasse ist recht steil und seit 2015 bis zum Parkplatz geteert.
