Die Tour führt überwiegend durch Wald, ist also auch im Sommer wenn die Sonne brennt gut zu fahren. Einkehrmöglichkeiten bestehen in Johanniskreuz, in Leimen, in Merzalben, in Clausen und Waldfischbach.
