Start im wunderschönen Gengenbach im Kinzigtal führt die Fahrt von der Ortenau hinüber ins benachbarte Elsass. Über Obernai und die elsässiche Weinstraße hinauf zur Hochkönigsburg geht es auf dem Rückweg noch über den Kaiserstuhl im Breisgau. Über das Elztal und die Heidbburg führt der Weg durch das Kinzigtal zurück nach Gengenbach.
