Streckenverlauf der Wanderung
Der Ausgangspunkt für dieser Wanderung ist der Parkplatz Gehlberg direkt an der B 244.
Vom Parkplatz aus folgt man am Anfang der Wanderung ca. 250 m dem straßenbegleitenden Fuß- und Radweg und schwenkt dann in nördliche Richtung hinein in den Elz. Auf ausgebauten Waldwegen führt die Tour vorbei am Gehlberg und wenn später die Waldkante erreicht ist, hat man einen herrlichen Blick bis zum Elm.
