Der hohe Norden macht seinem Namen alle Ehre: Von St. Peter am Wimberg fahren Sie hinunter zur großen Mühl. Durch die Ortschaften Hollerberg und Kasten hinauf nach St. Stefan am Walde. Von einem der höchsten Punkte des Granitlandes haben sie einen großartigen Weitblick über das ganze Land, bis hin zum Dachstein. Weiter geht es am Nordwaldkammweg nach Guglwald, Piberstein, hinunter zur Steinernen Mühl und wieder hinauf zum Wimbergrücken. Über die Dörfer Penning, Grubdorf und vorbei bei der Bründlkapelle geht es hinauf auf den Hansberg (850 m). Über St. Johann am Wimberg fahren Sie vorbei an der ehemaligen Sagmühle und Krenmühle zurück nach St. Peter.
