Wir starten und enden in der Münsterstrasse in der Dortmunder Nordstadt und fahren im Uhrzeigersinn.
Die Tour führt über befestigte Wege und ist größtenteils autofrei. Wir folgen dem Emscher Radweg, wir fahren auf dem Rheinischen Esel und wir machen Pause in Witten.
Sie folgt der Tour "Schwarzes Gold" vom Radrevier Ruhr.
