Von Kirchheim startet man die Rundtour ins Aulatal und fährt am westlichen Ufer bis Niederaula. Hier mündet die Aula in die Fulda. Weiter geht es im Fuldatal über Niederjossa, Rimbach. In Queck wählt man das westliche Ufer und gelangt so in die wunderschöne Burgenstadt Schlitz. Zurück kann man bis Queck eine Variante am östlichen Fuldaufer und bei Niederaula eine Variante am östlichen Aulaufer fahren.
