Die Radtour startet direkt beim Hauptbahnhof in Regensburg.
Im Deutschen Teil der Radtour fährt man grundsätzlich am Regen- bzw. Chambtalradweg durch wunderschöne Landschaften entlang. Da es kaum Steigung gibt, ist diese Etappe auch mit Kindern problemlos möglich.
