Der Rundwanderweg beginnt auf einer schönen Allee, die am Egglsee entlangführt. Durch einen Wald gelangt man auf die Ludwigshöhe, wo ein ca. 40 Meter hoher Aussichtsturm einen weiten Blick ins Ebersberger Land bis in die Alpen bietet.
Auf dem Weg zurück zum Ausgangspunkt kommen wir an zwei Teichen (Prielen) vorbei, die zum Baden einladen (Badeanstalt).
