Die Wanderung zur Riedleralm und Beireuthalm in Donnersbachwald ist überhaupt nicht schwierig und eignet sich sehr gut als Ausflugsziel mit Kindern. Die Forststraße ist sehr gut ausgebaut. Der eigentliche Wanderweg beginnt bei der Glattalm auf das Glattjoch. Bis zur Riedleram ist der Forstweg überhaupt nicht steil (4%). Durchschnittlich (8%) beträgt die Steigung von der Riedleralm bis zur Beireuthalm.
