Einmal bergauf und einen hammerharten Dowhill runter.
Achtung: der Trail ab der Hallgartner Zange ist in vielen Bereichen nur mit Downhill-Bikes, Schutzausrüstung und dem notwendigen Können zu fahren (s. Technik-Bewertung). Tourenbiker sollten sich auf längere Schiebepassagen einstellen.
Start ist an der Bushaltestelle Sportplatzweg in Oestrich. Über die Waldäcker und entlang des Ansbach geht es zu den 7-Wegweisern. Danach den Rheinhöhenweg am Grauen Stein vorbei zum Parkplatz Kreistanne. Kurz vor der Hallgartner Zange zweigt der Trail rechts ab.
