Die Radtour entlang der Schmutter beginnt in Scherstetten mit Parkmöglichkeit am Schützenheim. Nach dem Berg in Konradshofen hat man, bis auf die Anstiege in Biberbach und Holzen, die größten Steigungen hinter sich. Die Strecke führt überwiegend auf Rad-und Feldwegen, sowie Nebenstraßen das Schmuttertal hinab zum Endpunkt Donauwörth. Vom Bahnhof Donauwörth fährt man über Augsburg Hbf ( Umsteigen) zum Zielbahnhof Schwabmünchen. Nach Scherstetten sind es dann noch etwa 10km mit einem steilen Anstieg (Prügelberg) in Schwabegg. PS.(Eigentlich ist die Schmutterquelle nahe der Verbindungsstraße zwischen Siebnach und Schnerzhofen)
