Aufstieg vom Ettaler Sattel (gebührenpflichtiger Parkplatz) über Ochsenspitz (versteckt, zweigt über Pfadspur rechts vom Wege ab) zum Ziegelspitz (schöner Rastplatz mit Blick auf Ettal) dann auf zur Notkarspitze. Abstieg über Sattel in die Gießenbachschlucht. Sehr schöner Weg durch Flußbett zurück zum Parkplatz
