Wanderung von Stromboli Ort (Kirche) zu einer Aussichtsplatform an der Sciara del Fuoco [sprich:Schiara del Fuoko], von der man die Eruptionen des Stromboli - am besten nachts - beobachten kann.
Von dort kann man auch weitergehen (leichte Kletterei) zum Gipfel. Dieser Weg wird aber nicht mehr benutzt, da er gefährlicher ist als der Direktaufstieg zum Gipfel. (siehe mein Gps-Track)
Zunächst flach auf Forstweg bis zu einem teuren Ristorante, von dem aus man nachts auch die Eruptionen beobachten kann. Dann steiler in Serpentinen auf gepflasterter Straße. Die letzten 100 Höhenmeter steiler Pfad mit Lavasand.
Bei Nachtbeobachtung: warme, winddichte Kleidung, Mütze,Taschenlampe und Rotwein nicht vergessen.
