Start in Cannobio am Hafen. Durch das Valle Cannobia auf der schmalen Straße hinauf nach Finero. Traditionell trinken wir im Dorfcafe einen Cappucino (beim Dorfbrunnen links die Gasse reinfahren!).
Die letzten Höhenmeter zum Pass Piano di Sale sind locker zu fahren. Er wurde 2004 zum Gedenken an Marco Pantani umbenannt.
Von hieraus bergab nach Malesco und dann weiter durch das herrliche Centovalli nach Locarno. Ausweis nicht vergessen ... man reist in die Schweiz ein !
Gegen 16:15 Uhr legt die große Fähre zurück nach Cannobio ab. Kosten pro Bike und Mann ca. 30 SFr (Stand Juni 2009).
