Die Wanderung führt über Feld- und Waldwege zwischen kleinen Gärten und Wäldchen vorbei an einem kleinen Stausee und einem Wasserkraftwerk hinauf nach Anversa und die gleiche Strecke wieder zurück.

Von Sulmona fährt man über die SS 479 in Richtung Scanno. Man tangiert Bugnara und findet kurz danach auf der rechten Seite an der Straße einen Parkplatz.
