Einzig die lange, teils sonnige Auffahrt zur Äckernalm ist bemerkenswert, ansonsten eine schöne Tour mit vielen Möglichkeiten der Einkehr.

Von Rottach-Egern am Tegernsee über die Mautstraße (4,50 EUR, Stand August 2009) nach Valepp. Dort nicht am Forsthaus parken, sondern ca. 500m davor am Wanderparkplatz.
