Die Tour beginnt in Capannole, zuerst auf asphaltierten kleinen Nebenstraßen, dann auf teils groben Schotter über die Berge zu der Strada del Castelli durch das Chiantigebiet.
Herrliche Landschaft mit vielen Burgen zum anschauen, aber eine anstrengende Tour.
Nach einer Pause mit Einkehr in Gaiole de Chianti zurück auf Asphalt nach Capannole.
