Von Palermo an der Küste nach Cefalu. Über die Madonie Berge ins Landesinnere nach Nicosia. Duch den Nebrodi Nationalpark zurück an die Nordküste. Von Capo Orlando über das höchstgelegene Dorf Siziliens (Floresta) an den Fuß des Aetna. Auffahrt zum Rifugio Bruneck und der Nordstation des Aetna. Vom Rifugio auf Forstwegen zur Südseite des Aetna. Über Zaffarena nach Catania. Im Landesinneren kaum Autoverkehr. Vom Nebrodi Gebirge traumhafte Abfahrt auf sehr guter Straße zur Küste (28 km 1500Hm). Vom Rifugio Bruneck bis Südstation Aetna geschotterte Forstwege, sonst überall gut asphaltierte Nebenstraßen.
