Eine sehr schöne kürzere Bergwanderung mit einer Einkehrmöglichkeit auf dem Gipfel und nach dem Abstieg im Gasthaus Gletscherschliff. Der Weg ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Bergschuhe und ggf. Wanderstöcke sind unbedingt zu empfehlen. Die deutsch-österreichische Grenze wird mehrmals überquert. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, beim Abstieg den Weg durch die Geisterklamm (Leutasch) zu wählen.

Diese Tour startet zentral in Mittenwald, wo es ausreichend Parkplätze gibt. Außerdem besteht eine hervorragende Bahnanbindung zum zentral gelegenen Bahnhof.
