Parkplatz in Mühlau beim Langlaufzentrum der Sommermarkierung folgen Richtung Pyhrgasgatterl. Beim Zusammentreffen mit dem Weg von Bosrukhütte nach rechts zur "Langen Gasse" aufsteigen. Durch diese und anschließens in rechten Bogen durch das Kar zum Sattel hinauf und von dort rechts über den Gipfelhang zum Gipfel.
Diesmal Gipfel mit Schi erreicht. Sonst oft abgeblasen und Schidepot im Sattel.
Eine der schönsten Touren in der Region.
Kann auch von der Bosruckhütte gegangen werden. Bei Lawinengefahr aber nicht unterhalb des Gr. Pyhrgas queren.

Von der A9 kommend nach Hall und von dort beim Kreisverkehr links nach Mühlau. Bis zum Langlaufzentrum und nach dem Kraftwerk bei Parkplatz parken.
