Sehr schöne Rundtour oberhalb von Bad Salzdetfurth zum Kabusturm auf der Welfenhöhe. der erste kurze Anstieg vom Fußgängerüberweg vorbei am Relexa-Hotel und der Salzeklinik kann auch alternativ im Wald gemacht werden. Zahlreiche Variationsmöglichkeiten um die Tour zu verlängern oder abzukürzen.
Sehr schöne Aussicht vom Turm.

Gute Parkmöglichkeit auf dem Parkplatz am Solebad. Am Kurpark befindet sich auch ein Haltepunkt der Eurobahn.
