Ausgehend vom Wanderparkplatz Ellersbusch in der Straße "Erkrather Weg" in Mettmann, geht es zunächst runter ins schöne Stindertal. Der Weg steigt nun wieder an und es geht über Wirtschaftswege in einem großen Bogen zurück über einen ashaltierten "Gehweg mit Aussicht" zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
