Die Tour führt von Unterwössen über Schleching nach Kössen in Österreich und von dort aus über Reit im Winkl und Oberwössen zurück zum Ausgangsort.
Der Anstieg in Richtung Kössen ist gleichmäßig und nicht sonderlich steil. Gleiches gilt für den Weg von Kössen nach Reit im Winkl und den anschließenden Weg über den Masererpass nach Oberwössen.
