Der Weg führt am Rand von Bottrop an der Grafenmühle vorbei zum Heidesee. Von dort aus über die Kirchheller Heide nach Dorsten, welches wir nördlich liegenlassen und uns wieder nach Süden wenden.
Weiter geht es Richtung Gladbeck nach Gelsenkirchen und nach Essen.
Der Weg Richtung Dorsten über Bottrop kommend ist immer leicht ansteigend.
Sollte jemand also nicht ganz so fit sein, empfiehlt es sich, die Runde umgekehrt zu fahren.
