Die Tour führt ins Gaistal in Richtung Gaistalalm. An der Alm beginnt die Auffahrt zur Rotmoosalm ausschließlich über Forststrassen. Nach einer Einkehr kann man noch zum Predikstein aufsteigen und die Räder zurücklassen. Der Aufstieg erfordert Trittsicherheit. Die letzten 200 Meter müssen zum Teil auf allen Vieren gemeistert werden. Es handelt sich aber nicht um einen Klettersteig. Es empfiehlt sich Bergschuhe mitzunehmen.

Die Tour beginnt am Parkplatz vom Gaistal. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind dort absolut ausreichend, jedoch kostenpflichtig (4 EUR).
