Die Fahrt beginnt in Duisburg Walsum, führt über die Hoag-Trasse (ehemalige Bahnlinie) zum Rhein- Herne- Kanal. Der Weg führt am Kanal entlang bis zum Schiffshebewerk in Henrichenburg. Weiter geht es den Dortmund- Ems- Kanal bis zum Hauptbahnhof in Dortmund. Dort fährt man mit der Bahn zurück nach Duisburg.
