Dies ist der 1. Teil einer 7-tägigen Fahrt von Soest nach Düsseldorf, den Rhein aufwärts bis zur Ahrmündung, auf den Ahrradweg und über die Eifel bis zur oberen Mosel, die Mosel abwärts bis Koblenz und weiter bis Boppard am Mittelrhein.
Durch die Soester Börde erreichten wir bei Wickede den Ruhrradweg. Gut ausgebaut und gut ausgeschildert geht es an den Stauseen Hengsteysee, Harkortsee, Kemnader See bis Hattingen, wo wir am späten Nachmittag eintrafen.
