Die Tour verläuft in einigen Passagen auf kaum befahrenen Nebenstraßen.
Die Anstiege von Laurenburg nach Scheidt sowie von Obernhof nach Seelbach sind auf Serpentinen zurückzulegen und erlauben schöne Ausblicke in die Lahntäler.
Auch die Fahrt durch das Gelbachtal von Giershausen nach Weinähr mit den Weinbergen ist als ein Highligt der Tour anzusehen.
