Parkplatz Hinterbichl über das Dorferertal zur Johannishütte aufsteigen.
Von der Johannishütte den Zettalunitzbachs nach Nordosten zum
Zettalunitzkees aufsteigen. Weiter nordöstlich über den Gletscher bergauf. Rechts am felsigen
Klexenköpfl vorbei, bei 2980 m in einem Linksbogen nach Norden und unterhalb
des Felskamms mit dem Frosnitztörl über das Äußere Mullwitzkees. Am oberen
Ende des Felskamms nach rechts und über flacheres Gelände auf den Gipfel der
Kristallwand . Links des Südwestkamms zum Gipfel
