Die Strecke führt über weite Teile auf wenig befahrenen Kreisstraßen.
Zum Einrollen gehts die ersten 20 km durchs schöne Neckartal. Danach gehts über Brackenheim, Zaberfeld durch den Naturpark Stromberg-Heuchelberg wo so um die 1000 Höhenmeter zusammen kommen. Über Horrheim Sersheim, Freudental, Bönnigheim gehts zurück an den Neckar wo man auf gleicher Strecke am Fluss entlang zurück fährt.

Von der A 81 Anschlußstelle Pleidelsheim kommend, geht es gleich nach dem Ortsschild Rechts Richtung Sportgelände wo gute Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden sind. Von dort aus ist es nicht weit zum Beginn der Tour.
