Die Anfahrt erfolgt im Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr mit dem Regionalexpress der Eurobahn in Richtung Venlo Niederlande. Der letzte deutsche Bahnhof auf dieser Strecke - bis hierhin gilt der Verbundtarif - ist Kaldenkirchen.
Zurück in das Ruhrgebiet ging es mit der Eifelbahn ab Bahnhof Kall. Umgestiegen sind wir dann in Köln Deutz. Hier gilt bis Langenfeld der Tarif des Verbundes Rhein-Sieg.
