Nicht ganz alltägliche SkiTour, die ein wenig Mut und auf jeden Fall sichere Verhältnisse benötigt.
Man startet am Plöckenpass und kommt schnell zum Fuße des Collins. Von dort kann man direkt über die Ostflanke, oder so wie bei diesem Track leicht durch das breite Kar nach Süden ausholend, in die Ostwand einsteigen. Der Aufstieg erfolgt in der wilderen Variante direkt durch die mittlere Steilrinne oder wie in unserem Fall durch die linke, südliche Rinne.
Am oberen Ende der Rinne passiert man die markante Markierung vom Sommersteig. Von dort aus geht es in Richtung Nord-Westen, immer leicht ansteigend zum Gipfel.
Abfahrt wie Aufstieg, durch die südliche Rinne.
