Von Buchloe fährt man auf einem asphaltierten Fahrradweg nach Amberg und von dort aus über eine abgelegene Landstraße in Richtung Ettringen.
In Ettringen überquert man nun die Wertach und biegt danach sofort nach links ab und fährt nun Flussaufwärts nach Türkheim. Man kann weiter Flussaufwärts fahren nach Stockheim und von dort aus über Weicht, nach Buchloe zurückradeln, oder wie ich es gemacht habe, in Unterirsingen nach Wiedergeltingen abbiegen und von dort nach Weicht über ein kleines Waldstück fahren.
Beide Varianten sind empfehlenswert und auch ungefähr gleich lang.
