An der Bergstation der Seilbahn nach St. Martin im Kofel empfängt uns ein atemberaubender Ausblick auf Hasenöhrl, Zufallspietze und Laaser Spitze. Die Bergtour startet mäßig steil über den Steig in Richtung Vermoispitze. Vom St. Martin Alpl an wird der Untergrund steiniger, der Anstieg steiler und schon bald kommt die Vermoispitze in Sicht. Rund 2,5 bis 3 Stunden braucht man für den Aufstieg auf den Aussichtsberg. Vom Gipfelkreuz der Vermoispitze schweift der Blick über die Texelgruppe und die Gletscher der Ortlergruppe bis zum Similaungletscher in den Ötztaler Alpen.
