Diese Tour ist eine Streckenwanderung vom Bahnhof Windeck-Schladern zum Bahnhof Windeck-Dattenfeld.
Der Großteil des Weges verläuft auf dem neuen Natursteig Sieg (7. Etappe). Es geht häufig duch schattigen Wald. Nicht nur von der Burgruine Windeck bieten sich weite Aussichten ins Siegtal. Manchmal geht es steil bergauf oder bergab. Wanderstöcke sind dort von Vorteil.
Der Abschnitt kurz vor Dattenfeld verläuft im Steilhang direkt an der Sieg. Hier hat die "untere Forstbehörde" Warnschilder aufgestellt: "Besonders gefährlicher Waldweg !". Trittsicher sollte man hier also sein.
Die angegebene Zeit enthält mehrere längere Pausen, z.B. einen Besuch im Heimatmuseum von Altwindeck und eine Schlußeinkehr an der Siegbrücke in Dattenfeld.

Commentaires
Schladern ist mit der Bahn von Köln oder Siegburg 2 mal pro Stunde direkt zu erreichen. Von Dattenfeld fährt jeweils um Halb eine S-Bahn in Richtung Köln sowie zurück nach Schladern.
