Vom kleinen Wanderparkplatz in Schlattan geht es über den Geschwandtnerbauern hinauf zum Wank. Hier bietet sich ein herrlicher Ausblick auf die Zugspitze. Das Wank-Haus bietet die Möglichkeit zur Einkehr. Wir folgen dem Weg unterhalb der Bahn abwärts ins Tal. Über die Gamsalm geht es entweder weiter Richtung Geschwandtnerbauer oder nach Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Achtung: Wir sind leider in eine Sackgasse und ein Stück durch den Wald gelaufen. Dann folgen wir dem Wanderweg zurück zum Ausgangspunkt in Schlattan.
