Die Wanderung um Empfingen haben wir am Parkplatz bei der Kirche begonnen. Entlang der K 4767 sind wir bis zur Abzweigung in Richtung Dettensee gewandert. Danach geht es nach rechts über gut begehbare Wege in Richtung zur A 81. Fast auf der Höhe des Autobahnkreuzes Empfingen sind wir weiter durch das Industriegebiet und hinunter nach Mühlheim am Bach gelaufen. In der Ortsmitte geht es auf der K 5509 ein Stück weit bergan bis zur Abzweigung in Richtung des RHB am Empfinger Bach. Nach der Überquerung der K 5509 sind wir weiter entlang des Neubaugebietes bis zur L 410 und zurück zum Ausgangspunkt gewandert. Die Höhen um Empfingen bieten Sonnenschein über den ganzen Tag und nur deshalb sind wir diese Tour gegangen.
