Eine landschaftlich sehr reizvolle Tour. 2/3 der Strecke verlaufen über Wald und Wirtschaftswege. Höchstens 2 km über grössere Strassen, dann aber zum Teil mit Fahrradweg.
Ein bischen Kondition und kleine Gänge solte man mitbringen. Mountainbike ist nicht erforderlich. Ein stabiles Rad schon.
Die Tour bietet einige nette Einkehrmöglichkeiten und wundervolle Ausblicke. Der übliche Wohenendeverkehrslärm ist kaum wahrnehmbar.
Nach längerer Regenzeit könnte es an manchen Stellen matschig sein. Wir sind die Tour im März gefahren nach ein paar trockenen Tagen.

Autobahn A4 Abfahrt Engelskirchen. Start und Ziel sind in Kaltenbach. Man kann auch in Ründeroth beginnen und mit der Bahn anreisen.
