Day 1 of the 2007 Grischa Trail Ride. Hm includes 1100m from the Bergbahn. The weather was cold, wet, and tons of mud and fog, but still great fun.
An incredibly fun and well organized event, I highly recommend the Grischa Trail Ride to any diverse mountainbiker. Wonderful trails and lots of fun.
This day we screwed up and missed our chance to get a 1st or 2nd place, since we changed our plan at the check-point (due to an outside influence) and didn't ride the 2 trails we planned (a total of 560 points). We would have ended up with 1300+ points and a 1st or 2nd place. Instead we flailed around in the woods a while and ended up with a 12th (400 points less than we should have gotten). Oh well...live and learn.
***Ignore the crazy straight lines that somehow appeared on the tracks (probably because of joining different laps). Correct distance is 41km, 2300hm (-1100 from Bergbahn). Time was about 5 hours.
