Start in Freiolsheim, Waldparkplatz. Dort geht auch der Südwestbus z.B. von Ettlingen aus hin. Am Anfang nicht zu stark "heizen". Der Anstieg zur Teufelmühle ist kräfteraubend. Zurück nach Bad Herrenalb, Bahnhof.

Von Ettlingen den Bus nach Freiolsheim nehmen spart Kräfte. Wer z.B: von Ettlingen aus mit dem Fahrrad anfährt hat 15km mehr und einen Anstieg über 300m zusätzlich.
