Streckenverlauf der Wanderung
Die Wanderung beginnt auf dem Parkplatz an der Gaststätte Reitling im Elm im Reitlingstal.
Bevor der lange Anstieg in Richtung Drachenberg in Angriff genommen wird, heißt es erst einmal die herrliche Aussicht über das Reitlingstal zu genießen. Mit diesen positiven Eindrücken im Kopf ist der Aufstieg schnell gemeistert und die Wanderung führt weiter auf gleichbleibendem Niveau in Richtung Eichengrund. Der Abstieg zurück ins Reitlingstal ist mit Leichtigkeit zu bewältigen und auf dem Rückweg zum Ausgangspunkt hat man immer wieder herrliche Blicke in das wunderschöne Tal und auf die umliegenden Erhebungen.
