Aufstieg von der Falzthurmalm. Anfahrt über Pertisau (Mautstraße 4,50 €). Steil empor durch ein Kesseltal bis zur Dristlalm (Wasserstelle). Von dort über ein Almgelände zwischen Kühen im Auf und Ab bis zum steilen Aufschwung zum Hochtal unterhalb der Rappenspitze. Nun über ein Hochtal bis zum steilen Endanstieg auf den Gipfel. Nach exakt drei Stunden auf dem Gipfel.
Abstieg dauerte ca. auch 3 Stunden.
Insgesamt anstrengend, da die Wege karwendeltypisch sehr geröllig sind.

Über Maurach nach Pertisau. Im Ort in Richtung "Karwendeltäler"-
Mautstelle. Danach in Richtung Falzthurmalm. Mit dem Pkw bis kurz vor die Alm, dort größerer Parkplatz.
