Diese Tour startet in Hittisau vorbei am Freibad, Richtung Riefensberg. Nach dem Hotel "Engel" beginnt der eigendliche Aufstieg auf einer geteerten Serpentienenstrasse bis zum Wanderparkplatz des Almhotels. Von hier aus geht es teils geteert teils geschottert mit herlicher Aussicht zum Berggasthof. Wer nun zum Gipfelkreuz möchte, sollte dies ohne Bike tun, da der Weg nur für Wanderer gedacht ist.
Auf dem Rückweg besuchte ich nun die Hörmoosalpe, mit der daneben liegenden wunderschön angelegten Kräuteralp http://www.kraeuteralp.de/
Über einen kleinen idyllischen Umweg machte ich mich wieder auf den Heimweg.
