Los gehts in Haltern am Hbf. Von da immer am Wesel-Datteln-Kanal entlang Richtung Datteln, wo wir dann am Dortmund-Ems-Kanal entlang fahren.Dort kommt man am alten Schiffshebewerk Henrichenburg vorbei.Ein paar Meter weiter beginnt dann der Rhein-Herne-Kanal. Vorbei gehts am Steag Kraftwerk Herne, Zoom Erlebniswelt, Amphitheater Gelsenkirchen und Nordsternpark zurück zum Bottroper Hbf.. Wer will kann kurz vor dem Bahnhof noch einen Abstecher zum Bernepark machen.
